R A W E G G S
That day I photographed my mother who looked like Pina Bausch when she would cry.
Two people, seated on either side of a table covered with basil plants, cut and eat leaves. Instead of Apollo’s sacred plant, laurel, they chew on a herb of everyday sanctity, which, rather than inducing prophecy or hallucination, brings alertness and a connection between prehistory -the unconscious- and history -the rational consciousness-. A transgender man is interviewed to join a group, the Social Disaster Club. Strange stories come to light, while music, polyphonic songs and a mysterious voice interrupt the narration. RAW EGGS is a new dramaturgy about the defense of freedom and the subtlety of courage. It's so tragic. So fun.
