WORDS LIKE OEDIPUS I

the cost of life

A man is sitting in the audience seats

while the audience is above the stage between the lights.

Laius is hanging over the ground in a power position

and at the same time is under interrogation by the man,

while Oedipus and Jocasta are nailed on the floor

as slaves of his decisions.

The play is a narrative and revival of what happened,

in an attempt for the three of them

to eventually kill each other in a game.

Written and Directed by Artemis Chrysostomidou
